A native of Maine, Britta has lived in Western Mass, New York, Austin, TX and Paris, France- all places she has gathered her musical inspiration.  While in Austin, she played in several bands: Mata Hari, The Bigamy Sisters and The Walter Moore Band.  She draws from the likes of British Invasion, psychedelic and French Exploration, blending them all into a form she calls her own.  Many of her songs have been based on short stories she has written over the years.
