Thornapple Scrub Brush is a local bluegrass band including Rob Neilson on mandolin, Tammy Neilson on guitar, Erica Kingston on bass and Brian Durkin on banjo and vocals.  A powerful rhythm section coupled with tight harmonies results in a lighter sound than the songs’ darker subject matter implies.
